Mobily Roaming Packages Overview

Roaming is where mobile bills go to surprise people. A single day of pay-as-you-go data abroad can cost more than a whole bundle, which is why Mobily sells three different roaming products and why picking the wrong type is expensive: data-only bundles for people who live on WhatsApp and maps, combined calls+data bundles for people who still phone home the old way, and GCC bundles for Gulf trips specifically. All three are below, with the codes — subscribe BEFORE you fly, while your phone still works normally.

Mobily Unlimited Roaming Plans

Best Mobily Roaming Plan

For short travel, the 1-day unlimited roaming bundle or Data Roaming 5GB can work well. For a one-week trip, compare the 7-day unlimited bundle, Data Roaming 10GB, and GCC 7 Days if you are traveling within the Gulf region.

Choose a roaming package based on your destination, trip length, and whether you need calls, data, or both.

How to Subscribe to Mobily Roaming Plans

1

Choose Plan

Select a roaming package based on your travel country and validity needs.

2

Send Code

Send the listed subscription code to 1100 from your Mobily SIM.

3

Confirm

Wait for the confirmation SMS before using roaming data or calls abroad.

You can also check supported countries and subscribe through the official Mobily website.

Before You Fly

Turn on roaming on your line first (bundle needs an active roaming service), subscribe while still in Saudi if you can, and keep Mobily’s free roaming support number saved: +966 560101100. Travellers to Russia: by local regulation, roaming internet/SMS only starts working 24 hours after arrival — that delay is normal, not a fault.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I subscribe to a Mobily roaming package?

Send the bundle code by SMS to 1100 (example: Trip2 for 10GB/7 days), or subscribe in the Mobily app. Do it before departure when possible.

Which Mobily roaming bundle is best for a one-week trip?

For data only, the 10GB bundle (SAR 228.85, 7 days, Trip2). If you will also make calls, the 7 Days Unlimited calls & data bundle (SAR 401.35, Trip200) removes the meter entirely.

Does Mobily have roaming for Gulf countries?

Yes — GCC bundles with unlimited data and calls start at SAR 79.35 for 12 hours (code 6112). Stop auto-renewal with 58299 to 1100.

Why doesn’t my roaming work on arrival?

Check the roaming service is active on your line and data roaming is ON in phone settings. In Russia, services start 24 hours after arrival by regulation.
